Our team is small but extremely passionate. Every member of our team undergoes extensive training to provide you with a safe, fun, and unique experience.
Max
Instructor and owner
Max has been teaching diving since 2014 and has over 700 certifications under his belt. Max's passion for diving allows him to create an unbeatable learning environment. He specialises in teaching beginners and nervous swimmers how to dive.
Olivia
Manager and Divemaster
Olivia has been living on Caye Caulker since 2019, having completed her rescue course here and more recently her Divemaster. She manages Sunrise, taking bookings and making sure everything runs smoothly. She also occasionally makes an appearance on a dive as a divemaster!
Divemaster and Captain
Pedro is our newest Divemaster who you may also meet when you first arrive at Sunrise Scuba. He is a passionate diver and recently completed his Tour Guide License, Divemaster, and Captain's License. He also makes a mean lionfish ceviche and rum punch!
Pablo
Instructor and Captain
Pedro
Pablo is a veteran of the dive industry! Having completed his IDC in 2007, he has certified over 2000 new divers! Pablo is known for his jovial personality, but when it comes to teaching, you will struggle to find a calmer and more patient instructor in the country. If he isn't teaching a course, Pablo may even be your boat captain for the day, ensuring you arrive at the sites safely and having a lot of fun!
Marilyn
Bookings Manager
Marilyn is the grinning face you will meet when you step through the doors of Sunrise. She is in charge of taking bookings, providing information about our schedule, and ensuring you are fitted with all the equipment you will need for the dive.
